Noosa Shire Museum, Pomona MEG
The Cooroora Historical
Society volunteers operate and manage the Noosa Shire Museum
in Factory Street , Pomona . There are many items of interest
to history enthusiasts.
The volunteers are
interested in enlarging their local history collection and
one way to help with that is to start a MEG. Memories of energy,
which are specifically associated to Noosa Shire will have
the potential to add an interesting perspective to the collection.
Two of the current
volunteers, together with our Director, Jan, will be working
together over the next few weeks to bring to you some stories
related to the energy history of Noosa Shire.
In the meantime, here
are a few photographs of objects that used energy to whet
you appetite. The objects are on display in Noosa Shire's
Museum at Pomona.
