Kilkivan MEG
Kilkivan is in Kilkivan Shire and is situated about 50 kilometres
west of Gympie in the South Burnett region. Kilkivan's MEG
was started by the staff and volunteers of the local museum,
which is located in the main street of Kilkivan and has five
historical buildings in its complex.
One of the objects in the entrance to the main museum building
is an intricately patterned, green, cast-iron wood-burning
stove. The owner still lives in the village and will be relating
some of her memories to the MEG soon.
