Do You Remember?

The objective of the exhibition Do You Remember? is to encourage viewers to participate in our oral history program. The mounted photographs chosen for the exhibition depict images of working and domestic life for both men and women. The emphasis is on the way that electricity has affected our daily lives in the workplace and at home. Did your work practices alter when electricity was introduced into your workplace? What electrical equipment and tools did you use? What was the first electrical appliance you bought for the home? There are many questions to be answered. This small exhibition is a starting point.

This exhibition is available to tour. For more information contact Dr Jan King, Director, Queensland Energy Museum.
