Powerful Images
Powerful Images contains a
selection of more than 20 dramatic black and white images
taken by the late Max Pierce during his time as a contract
photographer for the South-East Queensland electricity supply
industry.
The photographs celebrate Max’s ability to create powerful
images of generating stations and electrical installations
using unusual angles. Many of the images also reveal rare
glimpses of the relationship between people and industry.
